LA Studio for Fashion and Modeling | Little Smiles Fashion Show Workshop

I had the honor of working with some amazing women over the past few months, starting with several model test shoots with the beautiful Madison Stecher, member of the Creative Team for LA Studio for Fashion & Modeling, and the wonderful Direction for LA Studio, Debbie Hartsog.

LA Studio is new to north Charlotte, NC (Huntersville) and the next big thing to the area! Here young girls will learn many different aspects of the fashion industry, have fun, build confidence, and serve their community. For more information please visit the website at www.lamodelstudio.com.Last weekend girls aged 7 to 17 attended LA Studio’s first workshop where an array of classes are rolling out by the brains of the operation, former NYC Ford Model and author, Debbie Hartsog. Guest model, Miss USA Carson Slayton spoke to the girls about her work, and gave them helpful tips on what to avoid and how to get started. The girls then learned the first steps in runway walking with a mock runway show. Debbie has several fashion shows already in the works and I’m so excited!We also got to meet Margi Kyle, Founder of Little Smiles NC, who left us all tenderhearted and charitable! Little Smiles is a non-profit organization that provides toys, games, DVDs, computers, VIP outings, celebrity meet and greets, event tickets, theme park tickets, fun food runs, Nerf gun wars and much, much more for children in local hospitals, hospices and shelters. LA Studio will be co-hosting a Fabulous Fall Fashion Show on August 24th at the Peninsula Yacht Club in Cornelius to benefit Little Smiles NC. All proceeds support Little Smiles and helps to put smiles back on children’s faces in hospitals throughout NC. Tickets are limited.
